Set up Unraid to monitor a UPS connected to a Synology NAS

On the Synology, Control Panel > Hardware & Power > UPS:

• ✅ Enable UPS support
• UPS type: USB UPS
• ✅ Enable network UPS server
• Permitted DiskStation Devices: add the static IP of Unraid host

On the Unraid host:

• (Install Community Applications)
• Install NUT - Network UPS Tools from dmacias72 (plugin page)
• Settings > NUT Settings
• Start Network UPS Tools service: Yes
• Enable Manual Config Only: No
• UPS Mode: Slave
• UPS IP Addresss: static IP of Synology
• UPS Name: ups
• UPS Monitor Username: monuser
• UPS Monitor Password: secret
• UPS Slave Username: monuser
• UPS Slave Password: secret
• Shutdown Mode: e.g. Battery Level
• Battery Runtime Left: Battery Runtime
• Battery level to initiate shutdown (%): e.g. 50
• Click Apply

If successful, you should see UPS information in the GUI.
