Timestamp UUID with Alfred Snippets

Alfred accepts placeholders with the ISO 8601 date and time format.

For example:

  • Keyword: ;d
  • Snippet: {date:yyyyMMddHHmm}
  • Output: 202204171357

Put this in a filename (or searchable metadata field) as a unique identifier. This is often used in Zettelkasten note systems; there's no reason not to use it more widely.
